Essex Open  2011

This years 33rd Essex Open competition will be held on the 3rd and 4th September. We would like to welcome Leon Paul as our new sponsor, the preferred supplier of British Fencing. Details are available here and also on the Leon Paul website.

New for 2011 - Essex Open Intermediate Foil Events

For the first time at the Essex Open, we are running Men's and Women's intermediate foil events. These events are open to fencers who have been fencing for 3 years or less. This is a good way to start competitive fencing and to experience the atmoshere of a full open event. Fencers who are eliminated from the main competition in the first round DE, may also be allowed to enter this event at a reduced fee if spaces are available.
