This years (31st) Essex Open competition will be held on the 23rd and 24th of January 2010 at: Leisure World, Cowdray Avenue, Colcheser, Essex CO1 1YH.

Check-in times are as follows:

Entry Fee
£20 per event per (non-refunderable). Entries postmarked 24th December 2009 or earlier.
£25 per event (non-refunderable). Entries postmarked after 24th December 2009.
Please make cheques payable to Colchester and District Fencing Club.

All UK entrants, must show their BFA membership at the check-in desk.

• The event is sponsored by Allstar Uhlmann UK
• Prizes will be awarded to the top four places in each event
• Refreshments are available from the sports centre cafeteria
• Discounted access to swimming and Aqua Spring spa is available to fencers

Please note: British Fencing rules will be applied throughout, except where at the discretion of the organising committee, changes are necessary to ensure the smooth running of the competition. All competitors and spectators do so at their own risk and are personally responsible for their own safety. Spectators are admitted to the venue and entries accepted on the understanding that the Organising Committee, Officials, Referees, Sponsors and Sports Centre staff cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to person or property however sustained.
