This years (33rd) Essex Open competition will be held on the 3rd and 4th of September 2011 at: Leisure World, Cowdray Avenue, Colchester, Essex CO1 1YH.

Check-in times are as follows:

Entry Fee
£20 per event per (non-refunderable). For entries received by Friday 20th August 2011.
£25 per event (non-refunderable). For late entries, possible online until 30th August.

Minimum Age Requirement

The BFA ruling on minimum age applies. Fencers must be aged 13 years or older, on 1st of January 2012.

  A trade stand will be present and equipment can be pre-ordered.
• Prizes will be awarded to the top four places in each event

Please note: British Fencing rules will be applied throughout, except where at the discretion of the organising committee, changes are necessary to ensure the smooth running of the competition. All competitors and spectators do so at their own risk and are personally responsible for their own safety. Spectators are admitted to the venue and entries accepted on the understanding that the Organising Committee, Officials, Referees, Sponsors and Sports Centre staff cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to person or property however sustained.
